Authentic Persian cuisine in Nice

A taste of Iran in the heart of Nice

YassResto was born of a passion for Iranian culinary tradition: slow-cooked stews, perfectly marinated skewers and fragrant rice prepared with patience and care. Every dish on our menu tells a story — from the saffron fields of Khorasan to the pomegranate orchards of the Caspian, Persian cuisine is one of the world’s great culinary traditions.

Located in the centre of Nice, we welcome tourists exploring the Côte d’Azur, local residents seeking a change from Mediterranean staples, and anyone who wants to discover Persian gastronomy for the first time. Our team takes pride in explaining each dish and helping guests navigate the menu.

What makes YassResto special

🍲

Slow-cooked stews

Ghormeh sabzi (herb stew), fesenjoon (walnut and pomegranate), tahchin (baked saffron rice with chicken) — dishes that take hours to prepare and minutes to fall in love with.

🌿

Saffron & Persian spices

Saffron from Iran, sumac, barberries, cardamom — we use the real thing. Subtle, aromatic, never overwhelming.

🔥

Charcoal grills

Koobideh, joojeh and mix skewers cooked over charcoal for authentic flavour. The grill is at the heart of our kitchen.

Visiting Nice? Don’t miss a Persian meal

Nice is a city of culinary diversity, and the Rue de France neighbourhood is one of its most vibrant dining destinations. Among the many restaurants in the area, YassResto offers something genuinely different: a cuisine shaped by millennia of culinary exchange across the Persian Empire, yet perfectly suited to the Mediterranean palate.

Our dishes use ingredients familiar to French Mediterranean tastes — herbs, garlic, lemon, pomegranate — combined with the unique depth of Persian spices. It’s a cuisine of comfort and celebration, ideal for a relaxed lunch, a special dinner, or a family gathering. We are open every day for lunch (12:00–14:30) and dinner (19:00–22:30), and we welcome walk-ins as well as reservations.
